Homestuck

Homestuck is an infamous webcomic that ran from 2009 to 2016. I willingly started reading it in 2023, because of these three videos by Playhead North on YouTube. I'd recomend watching at least the first one, and then the other two if you liked it and have the time. They're all funny and sincere and have embedded themselves in my heart.

Homestuck has a lot of flaws, but I really enjoyed reading it overall. I read it on and off over several months, I laughed, I got attached to characters, I enjoyed the chaos and confusion and cursedness. There's a lot of really interseting things going on in Homestuck, a lot of ways to analyse it, the characters are really fun to draw!

I read the Epilogues a little bit after I finished the main comic, and I honestly really liked them. I kind of found the way the characters messed up and hurt each other and struggled to become adults strangely... validating? I found them interesting, I liked the narration, I laughed a lot! There were things I didn't like (namely Gamzee), but overall I remember having a great time with them.
